CUSTOMIZATION / START WITH A DRAWING
Custom FSR Development and Prototyping
A drawing or an application idea can start the discussion.
Baoshengda provides FSR customization and prototyping based on customer drawings and application requirements. Define the detection task, sensing area, geometry, tail termination and mounting conditions, then agree the drawing revision, prototype quantity and testing method. Start with the application, mechanical drawing and expected quantity. Prototype costs, minimum order quantity, lead time and production arrangements are confirmed by project.
From requirements to prototype validation
- Describe the application
- Provide the use, contact method and state to detect. Distinguish the sensor input from the final system function.
- Review the structure
- Check the outline, sensing area, support, routing, adhesive or layer requirements and termination together.
- Agree the prototype
- Define the drawing revision, quantity, responsible suppliers and test steps before proceeding.
- Validate in the assembly
- Test the sample in the actual structure, record results and changes, then discuss refinement and production conditions.
First discussion checklist
- Application, detection goal, drawing or shareable assembly photographs.
- Outline dimensions, space, sensing area, contact materials and rear support.
- Target load and units, contact area, hold time, environment and assembly preload.
- Tail, interface, supply, sampling, channel requirements and existing electronics.
- Prototype quantity, project stage, plan and supporting documents. Mark undecided items for review.
Agree the scope before requesting a quote
- Film and mechanics
- Who provides the outline, routing, layers, termination, drawings and samples?
- Electronics and acquisition
- Are readout circuits, controller interfaces and acquisition electronics part of this review?
- Software and validation
- Who provides calibration, thresholds, filtering, software display and complete-product validation, and how are they accepted?
Customization and prototype questions
Can we talk before the drawing is finalized?
Yes. Start with application requirements and assembly photographs. Describe the detection goal, available space and current approach, then add dimensions, interfaces and test conditions. Mark unresolved items clearly.
What must be agreed before prototyping?
Confirm the drawing revision, outline, sensing area, tail connection, mounting conditions and quantity, along with the test method and delivery scope.
How are prototype cost, minimum order quantity and lead time set?
They depend on geometry, processes, quantity and validation scope. Costs, order quantity and timing are confirmed after requirements review, rather than inferred from a photograph.
How do we move from prototypes to production discussions?
Provide the tested revision, assembly test records, requested changes and expected quantity. These establish the basis for drawings, inspection conditions and subsequent delivery arrangements.
