APPLICATIONS / FROM TASK TO STRUCTURE
Flexible Pressure Sensor Applications
Understand the contact in your application before defining the film structure.
Seats and mattresses are established application directions for Baoshengda. Seat projects require review of covers, foam, support and sensor positions. Mattress projects also require attention to layer weight, sustained loading and recovery after unloading. Describe the application, assembly and detection goal together to define sensing areas, routing and prototype validation.
Seats and cushions: occupancy and local force

Separate occupancy detection, local force change and acquisition at multiple positions. Then assess sensing positions with the cover, foam, support and assembly preload. Application images are concepts; the heatmaps are not measured sample results.
Mattresses and care beds: contact and sustained loading

For bed occupancy and local or zoned force inputs, assess the mattress stack, its own weight, sustained loading, recovery and cable routing. Concept images explain possible installation approaches; actual placement and acquisition require project-specific design.
Grippers, insoles and touch interfaces: define the contact task
Robotic grippers, insoles and consumer-electronics touch inputs may be assessed as project directions. The following are design questions to review, not publicly validated customer cases.
- Provide shareable assembly photographs, contact positions and the existing approach to define mechanical and acquisition boundaries.
- Multipoint recognition, posture classification and alarms also need electronics, software and complete-product validation. Agree the delivery scope separately.
- Robotic grippers
- Define the object, contact-face geometry, load changes and routing space before assessing contact detection or relative force input.
- Insoles and plantar contact
- Define foot-contact positions, insole layers, repeated flexing, moisture conditions and acquisition channels. Validate in the actual shoe assembly.
- Consumer-electronics touch input
- Define the panel material, press area, support, preload and the trigger or continuous input needed by the controller.
Four things to define for a new application
- Detection goal
- State detection, relative change or data from multiple positions?
- Assembly
- Which layer holds the sensor, and what are the contact surface and rear support?
- Loading
- How is force applied, for how long, and is there preload or repeated flexing?
- System responsibilities
- Who provides the film, circuit, acquisition electronics, algorithms and complete-product validation?
